BCU Operating Procedure

The rotating BCU system feeds into the work-piece with the pilot locating in the bore.

While feeding forward, the Nose Piece contacts the work-piece, or fixture, and at this point the system will start to lift the cutter and form the chamfer concentric to the main bore.

Once the chamfer size is reached, the feed direction is reversed and the system moved clear of the bore.
